The first meeting of the Board of Directors of Astana Colleges in 2026 was held on the basis of the ALT Astana Transport College named after M. Tynyshpayev.
During the meeting, participants reviewed the implementation of the 2025–2029 Concept for the Development of Preschool, Secondary, Technical and Vocational Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and presented the practical experience of ALT College.
Special attention was paid to updating educational programs, strengthening the material and technical base, developing dual education, and introducing digital technologies.
Within the framework of the Year of Working Professions, issues related to expanding cooperation with enterprises, organizing industrial practice, and increasing graduate employment rates were discussed. Mechanisms for allocating the state educational order in accordance with current labor market needs in the system of technical, vocational, and post-secondary education were also considered.
Participants toured the renovated college building, modern classrooms, and library.
It was emphasized that training competitive and in-demand specialists remains a priority for technical and vocational education institutions.
